So there we have it. After a search for a new boss that took them half way around the Beezer Home Conference League, Hibs have appointed John Hughes as their new penny counter/boss.

What does this mean for Hearts?

1) Csaba now has the best grasp of the English language out of coaches in Edinburgh.

2) Twelve points a season.

3) Through to the next round of the cup if we get drawn against them.

4) Another season without Hibs winning the Scottish Cup.

5) Loads of praise about the style of football Hibs will be playing even although they won't actually win many games.

6) A rival manager who'll spend more times in the stands than the dug out.
