Craig Gordon overlooked

According to the Sunday press, Hearts' keeper Craig Gordon looks to be overlooked by Celtics number one Rab Douglas.

Seems a somewhat strange decision, as Gordon is growing in stature as the season go's on. Walter Smith's first match in charge of the national team will be against Italy, which is a bit of a make or break for Scotland, after a very shaky start to the world cup qualifying campaign.

Rab Douglas has just been drafted back into the Celtic team after regular number 1 David Marshall had been hit by numerous setbacks due to injury, and Magnus Hedman fallen out of favour.

The question I ask is this:- Would Rab Douglas still be the number one if Marshall was fit? I would like to ask Mr Smith this: Gordon has played in Bordeaux, Feyenoord, Braga, Basel to name a few, played in front of big crowds at Murrayfield, against both sets the old firm, hardly ever put a foot wrong in any of the Euro games, and has played EXCELLENT in recent weeks, so WHY is he being overlooked once again? Is it because he is a Hearts player?

If He played for one of the Glasgow sides, I reckon Craig would be the first name on the teamsheet.
