John Hughes will refuse to lobby Craig Levein to pick Hibernian players in his first squad as Scotland boss. Despite riding high in third place in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League, Hibs have seen just striker Derek Riordan earn senior Scotland recognition since last summer, and only then for two brief cameos under former manager George Burley. Hibs boss Hughes is confident Levein will give serious consideration to more than one of his players, but insists he will not put the former Dundee United manager under any pressure to include them in next month's friendly against Czech Republic. "Craig'll decide that," Hughes said. "If my players are playing to form, I'm quite sure Craig'll think one of two of them are worth a look at. "If that is the case, great. I'm just a proud guy when they do get called up."
