Hearts have announced that FBK Kaunas coach Egenijus Riabovas will take charge of team affairs next month, with current incumbent Eduard Malofeev taking a break.
More change at Hearts
Malofeev had stepped in after Valdas Ivanauskas took time out due to health problems, but the veteran Russian now needs to gain a UEFA pro-licence to stay in charge at Tynecastle in the long-term.
The news comes a day after a controversial 1-1 draw with Falkirk that saw Steven Pressley omitted from the squad and Paul Hartley dropped to the subs bench.
However, goalkeeper Craig Gordon played down talk of a walkout by the club's players in support of Pressley, who is reported to have been stripped of the club captaincy.
He told BBC Sport: "We're not walking out on the club and especially the fans, who've been fantastic through all of this.
"There's absolutely no way that will happen from anyone in this squad. We're going to give everything we have to bring success to this club."
