Romanov still confident despite possible Delay
Vladimir Romanovs hope in halting the sale of Hearts FC's spiritual home of Tynecastle took another few twists and turns on Friday as the Lithuanian expressed his confidence that the sale would halt, hours before the Hearts board decided to delay Romanovs egm due to a "more clarification" on Romanov's necessary paperwork that halting the sale of Tynecastle would be financially viable.
What remains to be seen is if the egm that Romanov called will be delayed as chairman George Foulkes is refusing to back down and let another tale in the “Hearts takeover saga” drone on. Foulkes has done a lot for Hearts since taking over as chairman of the club such as halting the sale of Tynecastle in the 03/04 season. He has been a key member also of helping Save Our Hearts and Romanov being not subjected to silence as Chief Executive Chris Robinson does his best to kill our club to save his own money.
Clearly a vote is needed on Monday so Romanov can halt the sale of Tynecastle. Romanov has received huge boosts form major shareholders Leslie Deans and Peter and Robert McGrail who have all said they will vote in favour for Romanov’s decision. Chris Robinson has already been obliged to vote with Vladimir Romanovs wishes due to Romanov soon to take over Robinson’s shares at the club. That is just another story in the seemingly never-ending saga which surrounds Gorgie right now. All the fans can do is get together and help SAVE OUR HEARTS!
